The CTA’s Annual Convention is regarded as the premier event for corporate tax teams. Developed by the CTA specifically for corporate tax practitioners, the program focusses on the issues, needs and concerns of corporate taxpayers. The program includes a strong mix of practical and technical sessions led by Australia’s leading tax experts and CTA member companies, as well as open discussions with the Australian Taxation Office.
With over 100 corporate taxpayers attending each year, the Convention provides a unique and valuable opportunity to focus on the tax issues affecting corporate taxpayers.
Venue & Accommodation
The CTA recommends delegates stay at The Langham Hotel Melbourne and has arranged a corporate rate of $280 per night (room only) for those attending the Convention. Please contact the hotel directly to make a booking and mention Corporate Tax Association Conference to receive the discounted rate (there are a limited number of rooms – available on a first come, first served basis).

Note: The CTA will not process accommodation requests, delegates are to make their own arrangements.
Full Conference Registration Fee
CTA member $1,430 (GST inclusive)
Non-member $1,650 (GST inclusive)
The registration fee includes:
- all materials
- meals and beverages during the Convention
- attendance to the Cocktail Reception and the Convention Dinner.
The registration fee does not cover travel, accommodation or personal expenses.

Payment can be made via cheque, EFT or credit card. A tax invoice will be sent upon receipt of the completed registration form.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the CTA before 30th May 2017. A cancellation fee of $715 (GST inclusive) per person will apply after this date, however registration may be transferred to another person in the event of being unable to attend.
